ghosttrollsThis is the first post in Ghosttrolls. I'm still really new to this but I'm giving it a go anyway.
Ghosttrolls is a crossover/au that I came up with a little over a year ago, and it's a crossover between the two animated shows Danny Phantom and Trollhunters. I've been posting on tumblr under the URL "ghosttrolls-au", but tumblr is going to change drastically very soon - it already has started the major shift, actually - and I'm looking to expand my horizons. (I also post about the crossover on ao3 and faniction.net as polar_spooks and polar-or-die, respectively.) Here's what I'm willing to spill about it here on this post:
Amity Park's school district is in shambles. The constant ghost attacks, while bravely and repeatedly tackled by the local ghost hunters and ghost boy, become too much. The school gets attacked one final time, and the budget's run out. Casper High, falling apart at the seams and a hub for ghostly attacks, can't pretend anymore: the building's shot. It's time to move the kids to a new school.
Arcadia Oaks, a neighboring town ("when did Amity Park reside in California?" you may ask, and I say that only time will tell you that one), just so happens to have a very large public high school with a very small student body. Being a neighboring town, their school district makes the decision to merge with Amity Park's, until they get back on their feet. They have the space, anyway...
Danny Fenton, student by day and ghost crime-fighter by night, doesn't approve of this. His parents end up moving him to the new town, and he worries that in his absence, Amity Park will be left defenseless against future ghost attacks. His two best friends and partners in anti-crime are sent to the private school, and he's left alone... Or so he thinks, anyway.
(so, that's a summary of only some of the things that happen in the first chapter or two. what do you think? interested??)
